With our 2023 June Directors and Screenwriters Lab underway, we wanted to take a peek behind the curtain to hear from several Sundance alums who have gone through the lab. At its core, this lab pairs veteran filmmakers with emerging storytellers to work on the newer artists’ projects. From these beginnings have risen such beloved directors as Chloe Zhao, Sterling Harjo, Nicole Holofcener, and Reinaldo Marcus Green, who share their stories about the experience. |
